Terms of Service

Placeholder. Last updated 7 May 2026. This page exists so the marketing footer has a real destination during preview. The final wording will be reviewed by the company's legal advisor before launch.

The service

The Medic Life Platform (the "Service") is an online interview preparation tool for UK medical-school applicants. It is operated by The Medic Life Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16 to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One account per person. Sharing logins is not permitted.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or abuse the service.

Subscriptions and billing

  • The Premium subscription is billed monthly via Stripe. The price is shown at checkout.
  • You can cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
  • We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months, except where required by UK consumer law.
  • Prices may change. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.

What you can and cannot do

  • You may use the Service for your own personal interview preparation.
  • You may not scrape, redistribute, or republish the question bank, mark schemes, learning notes, hot topic briefings, or news summaries. The content is original work owned by The Medic Life Ltd.
  • You may not use the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any third-party AI model.
  • You may not use the Service to harass other users, abuse the AI chatbot, or generate content that violates UK law.

News content and attribution

The academic news section contains short, paraphrased summaries of articles published by third parties (for example, BMJ, BBC Health, BMA). The original publisher is always credited and a link to the original article is always provided. We do not republish source articles in full and we comply with takedown requests from rights-holders.

AI-generated feedback

Practice feedback, mock interview debriefs, and chatbot responses are generated by an AI model. They are intended as preparation guidance only. They do not constitute medical, legal, educational, or professional advice. Use your own judgement and, where appropriate, the advice of teachers, mentors, or your medical school's admissions office.

Liability

We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that interview outcomes will be improved by using it. To the extent permitted by UK law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law (for example, for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
